NORMAN'S NEEDLEWORKS
QUOtes

All commission quotes should be taken as the best ESTIMATE for your final commission price. Again, the quote is an ESTIMATE, and may be subject to change with time, design altercations, material availability, and unexpected/over-expected labor. Changes to commission price during the building process will always be elaborated and approved with the commissioner before invoicing.

Quotes are prepared for $30 (paid through PayPal) because they do take anywhere from 1-2 hours to prepare and require material research. You will not be charged for a quote if you submit a character who I am not interested in creating, and I will reach out and notify you if I choose not to prepare a quote. However, please only submit a quote request if you are prepared to pay the $30 for a quote. You may submit another quote request with a different character if I decide not to move forward with an initial request.
If I do prepare a quote for you, the $30 charge will be refunded for those who choose to follow through with a commission in the form of credit toward the commission ($30 off the commission price). Those who were prepared a quote but are not chosen/don't follow through cannot receive a refund for the $30.

You must have a clear, updated character reference sheet to get a quote, or provide enough images and info of your character for an accurate quote.

Quotes will include:
-
an itemized list of materials, their intended use in your commission, and their individual price (some estimated, some exact)
-
photos and links to visible/design-specific materials (such as fur) for the commissioner to confirm style/color
-
an itemized list of each step in the labor process and the time (in hours) needed to complete them
-
an estimated total cost of materials I have on-hand
-
an estimated total cost of materials I need to purchase and required shipping cost
-
an estimated total cost of labor from my hourly rate ($30/hour)
-
a complete estimated total cost of commission, not including shipping

The formatting of a quote may be different, depending on what is being quoted. For example, there may be multiple sections to your quote if you are commissioning multiple suit parts (a section for each piece).

Quotes are good for as long as the commission slots are open. Once slots are filled, another quote must be requested for the next opening. Requesting a quote does NOT submit your order and you are not expected to commission me. It's simply an idea of what I need and what you need to make the commission happen!
